Why? I feel a new coach may be the way to go. Look at Carlton, I know that the Blues aren't great but the turnaround from 2 years ago is great. A new coach does this. Look at Brisbane, and what Fagan is doing. Changes will help

The culture was a shambles. On-field he was okay, but the off-field stuff he decided to not even control it. Eade came in and removed Hunt, Bennell, Dixon, etc who were seen as the main troublemakers. The culture has improved for the better, just need it to become a winning culture, and hopefully a new coach can bring that

Give me the Cousins, Kerr, Embley, Chick era over this current Eagles cleanskin group any day. I pay to watch good football, not to know that the players in the team are outstanding role models off the field.

There will be some ex senior coaches sniffing around from what I here including and not limited to Michael Voss.

It sees if you believe the whispers that they will go after a younger rookie coach which would be someone like Barker being the front runner. Simon Lloyd is also really well credentialed and will be around the mark.

Evans is a smart guy and well connected so he will bring in a new Head of Football to replace Ashcroft and ensure there are some solid people around the new coach.

Hard to judge assistant coaches as we don't really know how influential they are in the role but Evans recommending Barker to Brisbane last year shows he likes him. Of course if Clarkson or someone similar was available you would do it in a heartbeat but would they really leave their club? Will be interesting to see what Assistants we get in i think we'll need some stability so hopefully 1 or 2 stay.
