On Triple M yesterday Barrett and Brownless were talking about Clarko to the Suns being a logical move. If even a fool like Brownless see's it as a good thing hopefully the AFL can make it happen.

I think the appeal to his ego is the way to go, if the master coach can save the Suns, expand the game in new areas bla bla bla. He's surely got to fancy working with so many talented young players too.

Much more of a challenge (and probably more money) than another big Melbourne club.

Would you think Blueys record was better because he had more senior players to choose from to place around the developing kids?
I'd say at least half of Bluey's wins could be credited to Ablett carrying the team on his back with brilliance. All of Dew's wins have been hard fought. So I still think Dew is the best coach the suns have ever had.

I'm all for Clarkson, he's pretty much the only option that makes any sense. But I'm not sure he will want to knife Dew, given their history.

So, if you want Clarko, it's important that Carlton beat us handily this week. Let the players know.
Pretty sure Clarko loves a knifing

I spoke with a former player in the last couple of days and he said the club would be reluctant to move dew on because of the soft cap and they basically have no money so the afl would have to fund it so unless the afl can fund a deal to get Clarkson the dew will still be coaching the rest of his contract..

he also said that dew may take a pay cut to bring in a senior experienced right hand man for one last shot at saving his job

Chris Scott has surfed the wave of free agents Geelong has SOME HOW managed under the cap to bring in year after year

Tuohy, Higgins,Dangerfield, Cameron, Smith, Rohan etc

a lot of family members getting paid big bucks to put stickers in apples at Frank Costas

The AFL will pay outside of the soft cap for our next coach.
