Sorry to intrude on the Saints board, congrats to the Saints, great game last night. But to the collingwood fan who started this thread, what is your problem ?? having a big dig at the Cats, what have we done to piss you off ?? as far as i know the Magpies are a b*tch of a club, and to say we had an undeserved era, you ******* insane, we took the comp to a new level, we are up thier with Brisbane, FACE THE FACT !!!!! And this is the last chance your club will have for many years to challenge for the flag. Next year your guns will all be another year older, slower, more injury prone. The drop-off will be huge. And now you have to play us in another prelim.....

I didn't realise that especially Pendlebury, Thomas, Sidebottom, Beams, Wellingham, Blair, O'Brien, Shaw, Reid, Brown, Macaffer taking a step closer to their mid 20's means there is going to be a massive dropoff next year. The only person who will probably drop off next year is Presti, and Nate Brown will fill that void nicely. Personally, and before this year I thought this, I believe that Collingwood's best chance at a flag would in fact be next year, having given the young guns of the team (who apparently will all be slower next year) time to adjust to the game style and the likes of Lockyer, O'Bree and Fraser being phased out of the team.......oh one more thing (sorry for intruding Saints supporters but I think you might agree with me on this one) how are Ling, Mooney, Ottens, J-Pod, Enright, Milburn, Corey, Chappy and Rooke going??? Yes you might in fact take your chances this year and beat us in a prelim (if you stop taking Freo for granted and actually focus on them this week) but let me assure you the Saints and the Pies will still be up the top of the ladder in a fews years time, and Geelong will be the ones 'dropping off'.
