Collingwood iPhone app?

I was wondering why the Pies don't have one of these?

Basically an app that can give you results, player bios, photos, inteviews. Pretty much an app version of the website, that contains only the necessary stuff.

Maybe it has iPhone wallpapers that you can access, ringtone and the like.

I'd probably even buy it for .50c or $1.00 if it was of good quality and continually updated.

Would anyone else bite?

I reckon thats a good idea, as long as the content isn't too mundane. I'm sure one will be developed at some stage.

If you have Footy Live (best free app for live scoring and commentary), and designate your team as Collingwood it has player info for the whole list, as well as up to date news. The injury section seems a little off though...

Agree the Footy Live app is great...well it used to be, when any of my apps worked.

They all died when I did this iPhone upgrade or whatever a month ago

I'm assuming you guys are talking about Triple M's "Footy Lite"? Awesome app.

To fix your app crashing issue - try a Restore from within iTunes. Should fix it up.

No, it's just called Footy LIVE. I have both, and they're both good, but Footy LIVE is really sweet as it has live written commentary after every goal/quarter and is just really easy to use and accurate.

I have an app that is a Chelsea fc app. It has news from multiple sources that relate to Chelsea and are ranked in two sections. One being most popular and the other recently added. Then it also sends me updates everytime someone scores in any of their games. Obviously a push notification at quarter time etc would be more appropriate but this would be a great app if also applied to afl.

I have footy live. It's not quite as reliable as it once was. They've tried to make it too flashy.

But a dedicated official Collingwood one would be cool if done properly. I'd pay for it.
