Maybe, maybe not. I'm sure deep down he doesn't want to put on that terrible paddlepop guernsey. I think he has a little more respect for his footy skills and choice of team even in spite of his choice to relocate. Gold Coast is the only option in my mind.

Make it seem impossible. Make only the best deal push it towards the probable, but I don't think Eddie would throw Beams under the bus on this one

Eddie loves Collingwood, and he loves his players. He also loves the game, and not letting him go home hurts the player, the club and the game

You'll need to add Dangerfield to O'Meara before we even look at the deal. How you go about getting him off Adelaide is your problem, but you'll be paying 50% of his salary for 5 years in any case.

I don't give a **** what those clowns at Brisbane or the general public say about how we have treated poor Dayne. I'm proud of Collingwood, we took a stance, held firm to our word (if you can't trust your word what can you trust).
Brisbane is the party that did not keep their word. They offered him a contract on the basis that they would make a deal that would satisfy Collingwood.
Beams relied on this misrepresentation.
Could this trade period be a bigger fail for Brisbane than the last? Looks very likely.
