Rutten was atrocious tonight. Another who is almost gone. He, Thompson and VB just aren't the same anymore.

If VB is our captain next season and not Danger the whole coaching panel should be sacked.

How'd he go in the first half?

And Thommo was on Swan for significant parts of the second half, wasnt he?

Don't be a cry baby BACCS. Just because I'm right about the Crows, like I've been right about the Cricket, there is no need to be a little bitch.
A little bit hypocritical now? haha, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. How have you been right? Do you have a measuring stick for your opinions?

Seriously?

A measuring stick?

How's our year going?

How's Mickey Arthur's coaching gig going?

Did you expect a different response when you posted you were happy we lost?

I don't ignore those issues, but I still enjoy any game my team wins. That's why I follow footy after all.

It's been a shit year, I know that, but I'll still get excited for our games each week, regardless of selections and what not.

Anyway, this is depressing me and it's 3am over here, I shouldn't be depressed in Hawaii. Cya later

I'd rather lose a battle to win the war.

I did, and what's more, I think the umpiring was in our favour. Sorry if you're in a sooky la la mood and can't see the game objectively.
Umpiring was poor all round tonight, and we definitely got a fair few iffy ones our way.

Laird, Lyons, Crouch, Sloane, Douglas, Porp, Lynch all played FANTASTIC
Jacobs, Thompson, VB had shockers!!

I think they struggle with the one-sided crowds and over-compensate. I think this is why we usually get a bad run at home. Contrary to popular bigfooty logic, umpires are not cheats directed by the AFL to shaft us.

once again the senior midfielders let us down and the kids stand up and give a red hot crack

thompson's spot needs to be under serious consideration, grigg go be given a crack.

You should be surprised - was just winding you up ;)

You know I like you, blind optimism and all, so lets not get personal.

If you're in Hawaii, go put your Australian accent to use with an American girl.

Clean some of the yesterdaysmen out of our midfield and we should see a fairly rapid spike. Its where we have been at our poorest yet where we have the most reserves ready to slot right in.

Sam Jacobs really has been absolutely terrible this season. Like really bad. His tap-work has become irrelevant. Shadow of the player he was in 2012, much like the rest of the team.

Quite obvious now Adelaides season was over the moment Tex went down. So many directionless kicks into the inside 50 and no good crumbers to go at them when it goes to ground. Having so much inexperience and young bodies in the team is showing with end of quarter fade outs - as opponents seasoned professionals show class as our young guys run out of steam. Thompson looks a shadow of his former self and our midfield dies the moment Danger goes off ground. Time for crows to pump more games into the young guys, no chance of finals now and time to go into full rebuild mode. Play Grigg, keep Lyons in - he is a gun.

I am not going to attempt suicide with level 10 emo statements like some of you but tonight really showed that our young guys have a strong future and we did play quite well. Collingwood have some elite players and seeing young guys like Laird and Crouch go head on head with them is inspiring stuff. Lynch is an ace. If Lyons gets traded after showing is talent today then I will be disappointing but I think tonight certainly boosted his value. Jacobs is frustrating but he took a few good marks today and did more around the ground which was better. Jenkins would be great if he could kick it between the two big sticks. He takes the marks but just doesn't finish. Ehh I dont know....

Cue inspired comeback then game breaking Collingwood free kick resulting in a goal
:thumbsu:

Same as the Carlton game when we got pinged instead of Thompson getting a shot directly in front to put us ahead.

Same as the Hawthorn game when we got pinged instead of Thompson getting a shot directly in front to put us ahead.

Same as the Freo game instead of Danger getting a shot directly in front to put us ahead.

That's 4 games this year alone. This has been the worst year I can remember since 1998 and the round we played North Melbourne and John Harvey.

I stopped reading when I saw your avatar. Freaked me out.

If we has that sort of umpiring all year we would have three more wins on the board. Eagles, freo, and Hawthorn. And by that sort of umpiring, I mean not getting bent over and having barbed wire shoved in our clacker....just an even playing field. For once, cudos to the umps for mostly ignoring the biggest whiney bunch of ferals in the AFL.
