At least he’s not like Greene “The Optometrist”, checking with his fingernails to see if he still has his contact lenses in

Me toReally want GWS to win.
They have a ruckman who is free kick machine for the opposition and has a fork in him up against a guy in Brownlow form and perhaps the best ruckman in the game at the moment (sorry Toby).
Collingwoods midfield is too good to be missing four of your best midfielders and still have a chance.
Collingwood wont be bombing into forward line like Brisbane did so Davis and his mate (forgot his name) wont get near it.
Non Collingwood fans will be looking for something else to watch before half time.
Been saying all week this will be the blowout prelim. Pies only need to start well and it's all over.
Apologies to the decent Collingwood supporters on here, I'll be cheering hard for the Giants. Mainly because I think we have a slightly better shot of beating them than beating you, but in all likelihood we are set up for a crazy Richmond v Collingwood GF.
Ward, Greene, Congilio, Whitfield, NO one can cover that loss.
On Green - completely agree with that point.Stupidity is not an injury.
GWS should have straightened out Greene over the last few years, instead of pandering to his talent.
Sheedy or Malthouse would have fixed him - so please let’s not bleat about Greene missing because it was completely avoidable if GWS had some balls.
When you paint it like that, it sums up what a lot of people are saying. This really is Collingwood's match tonight, they are trending up while their opponent is going the other way.GWS away record this season -

Whilst GWS have some good ins since last time (Kelly, Davis, De Boer), they also have some huge outs in Greene and Whitfield so they haven't upgraded, only replaced top end talent with other top end talent. Collingwood have some big ins and huge upgrades since last time. Our only big out since last time is De Goey. But Elliott is a substantial replacement. Adding Moore and Noble shores up defence with bigger harder bodies than Quaynor and Appleby. Stevo is a monumental upgrade over Crocker, and Reid although not as tall, is arguably a better player than Cox. Hopefully Reid can stay healthy out there. Wills over Sier is an improvement as Sier has been garbage this year, and Thomas/Varcoe much of a muchness.
If Collingwood dominate the inside 50's again, which I think they will.. they will win easily. Our biggest concern is players like Reid and Moore getting injured in game. If that happens we could be in trouble. But with Elliot and Stevo down in the forward line, and Reid crashing packs, we will score a lot more than last time.
GWS kicked overly accurate last time we played too, helping them to get the win. 19.8 is an extremely efficient scoreline. Having Darcy Moore back there now, I don't believe they will have it so easy. That accurate scoring was the result of an undersized backline and GWS talls being able to mark anything that comes in 20 metres out directly in front. Cameron, Himmelberg and Finlayson kicked 13 goals of the 19. Greene kicked 2. So if Moore, Howe and Roughead can limit the impact of these 3 talls, and Reid swing back there to help when GWS has momentum (maybe moreso the reason he is playing) then they won't score many goals.
It could be a smart move. They played Mumford and Simpson last time and both were annihilated by Grundy.Mummy late out?
1 year ago today the Pies triumphed in their prelim against Richmond.
Today, they're going to do it again. Heart, fire, blood and guts Mighty Magpies. The Black and White's will rise.
Would explain Keefe coming in for Greene. It could be a smart move. They played Mumford and Simpson last time and both were annihilated by Grundy.
Mumford has been cooked for a while now
The kiss of death hehe...Game to be over by half time and Pies to rest several stars.
You wish!!Mummy late out?
Not cool, just wish for a one point Pies win and that the two sides absolutely belt each other until the last minute. That way it’s the best of both worlds.Been saying all week this will be the blowout prelim. Pies only need to start well and it's all over.

Legit - heard it last night. Why the heck would they be going in with so many talls on a wet day? Just doesn’t make sense. You wish!!
Wish it was a ~2:10 or ~7:10 game. Twilight's are just such an awkward time (especially for big games like this where the mixture of nerves and excitement is consuming.)
Too early to have a few nerve calming beers as well!
Throw a blanket over half a dozen.Who does de Boer tag?
