We are keen on him at the end of 2012 with free agency. Whether he wants to come is another matter.
A crappy season from St.Kilda, given the ages of Reiwoldt & Hayes and both will have dodgy knees, he may be loking for some success as he moves to the peak of his career.
No doubt the cheats from Price fixer park will be out with their brown paper bags.

Showed promise, but does anyone else think he has stagnated the last couple seasons? Not as brilliant as he was when he won the Rising Star that's for sure.

Isn't his old man a Collingwood supporter? He is certainly good mates with Joffa anyway, so I could actually believe this. I reckon he's one of those guys that has to be in a good team to have an impact, which isn't really a good thing but given our position I wouldn't be totally against it.

My thoughts exactly.
On his form of the last 2 years, he wouldn't be in our finals side at the moment.
But as some have mentioned, playing as an outside footballer in this side could increase his output dramatically.
I wouldn't give a first rounder and a player for him, maybe one of either, but not both.

Big rumours the Saints are shopping Goddard around to WS at the end of this season, many think he'll go anyway in 2013, highly doubt we'd be interested anyway unless he took a massive pay cut.

Yep, but who hasn't in that team?, gets a lot of attention for a B grader, attention he wouldn't get at a strong club.
Hasn't shown much heart this year. Can play but not the first I'd be hasing. All depends on price and in the unlikely event thsi is true stand by for another whinge fest about inadequate offers when we offer up a first round pick and player who turns out to be very good. Heath Scotland would nearly be Ports best player right now and we all know what happened with St. Kilda.

Doubt our first rounder would get the job done this year (mid 20s pick in a weak draft), not sure what/who else we could offer, Port always wan't top dollar and bit too.

Has anyone else noticed this year pretty much every time he gets the ball he has a small fumble at the start? Would be an exciting addition no doubt and he could turn into a burgoyne at collingwood.

Actually thats probably realistic Wood is from SA aswell and ive seen a few threads on BigFooty about Port and there need for a Ruckmen

Yep, they are in the market, so are the tiges apparently.
It would mean we'd have to pick up a another hack though, best VFL ruckman or trade our secod pick for one, 'if' wood comes good it wont be for atleast 2 years IMO.
