Seriously what a load of crap!! Shitty inside 50's, clangers galore more for your outdoor. God we looked so average today. Mckinley wtf was that shit u pulled today. What's with our shitty lollypop kicking??? Only positives were lecras and kennedy. We were so slow kept handballing to some that wasn't running. Most frustrating game this year!!

Masten made some terrible mistakes.

Just still lacking players with ELITE footskills.

Hurn is still about the only player who can kick.

We have some spuds that really got exposed. For me that's a positive. It's games like this one that show us who will make it and who won't. Ben - you really need to make some ground soon or you just won't figure in our future.

Would have loved the win but for where we are at the moment I would prefer we take this time to work out who is in and who is gone.

Insipid!!!

What an utterly insipid and heartless display from West Coast today. Some questions I'm sure many fans want answered:

Where the F*CK is our run? Are we able to chase the ball or move to a contest?

Why can't we MAN UP FFS? Surely Woosh asked the boys to fuggen MAN UP at some point during the game?

WHY WHY WHY do we BOMB the ball into the forward line? Can we not take the pill and kick it onto a team mate's chest? Is it THAT hard?

The Handball. Jesus H Christ. Why do we continue to use the same old game plan in regard to the bloody handball? To make it even worse, we tend to handball to team mates who are under intense pressure or other team mates who are standing still. Get rid of the fugging HANDBALL!

And where was the heart and determination? For crying out loud. We've got some dead wood in our team when it comes to heart. You'd think that Fletch, given that this would be one of his last chances to play AFL, would have come out with a bit more in the tank.

And Woosh is talkin about making the eight in the next year or so.

A pathetic display today boys.

Two things that beat us today ,
1. Melbourne were red hot and were seriously hungry on the day.
2.Skill errors under pressure,possibly cost us a victory.

If COX is out next week, I think SEABY is a must next week. Playing St Kilda's Ruck division next week with King and Gardiner Niki-Nat Will get smashed. His too light on. In Fact I would like Seaby to come in for Niki Nat next week, just to see if seaby wants to still be an AFL player. Niki Nat playing for swans next week wont hurt him

I thought McKinley worked hard all over the ground today, he chased hard too and applied pressure. Our kicking into the forward 50 was woeful, that was the problem. It's a wonder we had any multiple goal kickers really.

I've seen some negative posts about Masten and Butler...I thought Masten was pretty good, sure he had a couple of poor decisions, but some of this is because he receives the ball when he sometimes shouldn't (ie under pressure) or he has no options and nowhere to go. He worked hard, kicked a nice goal, got plenty of the ball and his kicking was generally good. He has improved a fair bit in last month, and I thought he was probably in our top 5-8 players today.

Butler did pretty well too, has some class and will be better for the run. He hasn't played a lot of footy over the past few years, but he is getting back into it.

He had a cracking first quarter, was everywhere. Didn't he get hit hard (off the ball and to the head) by Sylvia just before half time? That may explain it.

Hmm i heard about that hit on scotty, He seemed fine and the start of the 2nd half. He was the only eagles player that really caught my attention. Looks like a fine young players

My mate literally smashed a beer bottle on the garden shed (we were watching outside) when Jamar kicked his goal in the 3rd.

How many times did we see the ball switch from back pocket to the other side, then one pass into the middle and 20m to run with an open goal beckoning? Worst still, everything was uncontested.

Can anyone who went to the game today comment on our defensive structure and pressure? Both looked non-existent.

Positives that come to mind: Kennedy worked hard, Hurn's developing into an A grade player, LeCras will get AA and I thought Rosa worked hard but disposal was lacking.
