With West Coast going down it opens the door up for us. West Coast are now 12 & 4, and we're 9 & 6. Assuming we win tomorrow we will go to 10 & 6. With West Coast playing Adelaide and then us the following at the TD it is a distinct possiblilty that we could over take them. This would push Melbourne up to 2nd and put us in a very good position for 3rd place. This would mean we would be playing Melbourne in our first final at the MCG which is a very good scenario. However, if things go even better we could get up to 2nd however that is probably unlikely.

So, for us to finish third we also have to get ahead of the WB which would make our game against them very important, but hopefully they drop a few games before then.

I quietly thought the same thing (that we may find ourselves up against Melbourne), but there's still a fair bit of water to flow under the bridge just yet.

Hmmm there are some real pearl of wisdom in there. I think a win tomorrow will give us heaps of momentum, maybe enough to go all the way like you said. Nowever, beating the power in Tassie is easier said than done, the saints dont have a good record with either.

Yeh, I'm feeling a bit nervous about the game tomorrow. We were in the same position last year and lost. It's a danger game but if we do win we are a real show for third place. We always seem to get jumped in the first half when we play down there. Last year we got jumped by Freo and Port and we couldn't get back against Port but managed to get up against Freo. And this year against Freo it was the same. Something like 5 goals down at halftime and we were playing catch up from then on.
