Well....is there? For those that go to training, how are they looking? Are they stronger than last year? How can we improve?

Say something!!!

Nope, all i know is they are training hard!!

I get my membership in a week or so, i am a TIGER CUB, i could've veen in the junior squadron but it isn't worth it cos i live in Perth.

If there is no footy news, i guess i'll have to talk about myself

I am working on a Wayne Campbell website that is dedicated all to him (no smartass comments please). I have been supporting the tigers for 5 years and i have been following AFL for 5 years. I will be folling them for my whole life

I am 13 and i live in Perth however i was born in Westmead, NSW. I have lived in Darwin and Adelaide (i hated the dump, no offence anyone). When I'm older i plan to live in melbourne and watch my lovely tigers play at the G whenever they play there!! I will be starting year 9 this year..... well that's my life story

Well RF#1,

I would have picked for being older than that given the maturity of some of your posts.

Good on you for making a Wayne Campbell site. Wayne has been unfairly treated by some, but he has been a good, honest servant of the club nevertheless and deserves the captaincy, even though Knighta didn't deserve to lose it.

The reasons for Campbell wanting to leave Richmond were fair enough at the time, as were his reasons for eventually staying. And if he could actually kick a low, fast, accurate pass he would be one of the greats of the game. The rest of his game is very good.

I look forward to seeing your Wayne Campbell site.

Actually there is something to talk about!

We have recently announced that former player Trevor Poole has been appointed as Football Operations manager!

And we do have the AGM next week!

And it is only a month to the day before our first Ansett Cup match in Launceston against the Hawks!

So much for the afterglow

Hey RF#1,

It's great to see someone your age keeping the faith in what I guess for you must be "enemy territory". Does the rest of your family follow the Tiges?
I am about to endure my first season ever away from Melbourne (I live in Darwin) and am absolutely desperate for any news at all on the progress of the team. It was good to see an article on Royce Vardy in the latest edition of Inside Football. Let's hope he can take the big step up and really cement his place in the backline this year.
I hope you get your wish to come and live in Melbourne and watch a game at the "G". It is truly an awesome experience. I think going to the games every week, I maybe took for granted how lucky I was ( except against Essendon last year when I felt far from lucky!).
I hope your faith is well rewarded this year and that Richo has a big one and answers some of his critics and that The Glove bouces back quickly from his knee.
I especially look forward to reading your posts and those of Tiger Tank and the gang in the months to come.
Go Tiges!

Thanks for everyone's pleasing contributions.
Sister Patience,
Do my family follow the Tigers? Well i guess i made them. They had no choice!! Even though Rugby is their favourite game
