Very good episode. They are really going for a season 1 vibe with the new season which is good after the ridiculousness that was season 5, but after 7 episodes I'm still waiting for a high concept episode. Give me another paintball, remedial chaos theory. dungeons and dragons or animated episode please!

I know it was just that I'd been watching an ep of Scrubs with Keith in it on The Comedy Channel prior to watching last weeks Community

I thought that was Billy Zane too but I was like surely a big actor like that wouldn't appear on TV (not to mention he's aged/let himself go a bit from his Phantom days).

I was going to mockingly laugh at you and reply with something like "Seriously? He was obviously wearing a bald cap and a fake beard." But then I actually did a Google Image search of him and realised that my condescending tone was completely misplaced. The poor guy has aged terribly!!!

Haha. I thought the same too (thought he might have worn one of those 'fat' suits or something like that). I guess in his defence he is pushing 50 though so time would take a toll.

Had a quick look at his IMDB too and I don't think he's been in any major films lately either (as I couldn't recall seeing him much recently). Seems to be plenty of TV work these days. Always liked him but it seems his stock has dropped a bit over the years sadly!

No, it didn't feel like news to me when they said he died of lack of fluids from constant masturbation (lawl) so they must have said it before.

Honestly, most of you guys seem to be really enjoying this season, but I just can't get into it. It's just not "community" that I used to know and love.

Don't get me wrong, the episodes haven't been terrible per se, but moreso run of the mill for me.

I think Elroy and Frankie have proven to be worthy contributors, but I just don't think both are what the group needs right now for that sweet spot in the chemistry. Both are good characters in their own right, don't get me wrong.

It just doesn't feel like classic Community to me. When was the last time we heard a Jeff Winger speech to rally the troops for a stupid cause? All we see now is Jeff just drink, complain, and follow the group like the drunken dad. Ever since Troy was gone, Abed has pretty much hit the pooper as a character. Britta's gotten more annoying and I want to say something about Annie but can't really remember her "shtick".

Ah well.
