I know all oisn't lost for you guys by any stretch. But I recall Melbourne in 2004 being in a similar position to you guys at the moment - it was crushing.

Nothing worse than being clearly the best side for the majority of the year, only for injuries and a strange training regimen (for those that don't know, melbourne tried an almost identical method as you guys are trying this year in 2004) conspiring to really hurt a genuine finals contender.

You guys have been awesome all year, and I hope for the sake of a good finals series, that everything lines up properly for you before the finals (just perhaps after saturday if possible).

good luck (except for this week) for the finals, hopefully we can face each other a bit later on.

Yeah I don't mind your club (in spite of 98 when you somehow won our permiership and 2002 when you managed to overcome the travis johnstone football club) you're always very professional about it and basically I dislike port a fair bit so it make sit much easier to like you guys.

We are not "trying" a training regime,we are using.

We have done it three times before (97,98,05) and in all but 1 final weve come hard at our opponants in the last half.Got two flags in those three years.6 of the games were interstate,3 pre lims and 2 GF's

Funny thing is that 1 game was against Melbourne in 98


I wonder if all those having a go at Adelaide over its training have thought about these facts.
