I'm all for front loading where it is appropriate but I don't think Chesser is the right guy for it.

There’s a fair bit of goodwill between Campbell and WCE plus he’s a great kid. Benefits by far outweigh the risks, would just beef up the next extension.

Campbell has shown enough to get another deal, 1 would’ve been ideal but if it takes two years, so be it. appears suited to Mini game plan.

Blight as I’ve mentioned before looks the perfect buy low plug and play CHB for next year.

It seems we haven’t been linked to many mids recently. Hopefully we have one locked up.

Ruck? Who knows. Need something, would take Reidy rather then nothing. Not sure what other clubs can offer him the chance of being the number 1 ruck next year.

A McCarthy 2.0 would be nice. Will Powell? A chance of being pushed out of the Suns hbf line?

If we wanted another half back, we'd draft Duursma.

That is true and if we do that’s where he will play for the first 3 or so years.

Farrow is the other one but the issue with him is you’d want that position locked in during the trade period and not hope a player slides to you in the draft.

In the old days you used to get an end of 1st round concession if you won less than 10 games in a 2 year period . West Coast would have already had priority picks in previous drafts . ( Darling ) The afl don't have a rigid rule any more plus have given Northern teams academy concessions . Our 2nd round pick is nowhere near 19 and the concession picks haven't been given anyway. We have no idea if we get a concession pick now that used to be a mandatory based on wins in a 2 year window .

I’ll vomit if we leave Sharp on the board for them. Cumming is going to be a player, I’d happily trade Duursma for him and Lindsay/Schubert if we can get Port’s pick.

Mac could play anywhere but having that calmness and attacking speed both by foot and by mind is at the centrepiece of a good defence

Yeah perfect. Not sure I’d go with him at 1 and 2 and then it will be the same situation, you’d have to hope he falls to us in the draft at the Power pick of a pick split and I reckon Richmond would be all over him at 3 or 4s

Yeah, definitely not 1 or 2 but, reading around the boards, I think he's a chance at 5, maybe lower.
