Okay, no response..Is there a register of managers of players?
If so, which players are in the Young fold? Ours and outside...
Dead serious, live apricots (even goes with chicken) can’t wait to hear what Godfather thinks of them.
If apricots were a player , they would be Liam Ryan, so good for a small packagePLAYERCARDSTART1Liam Ryan

Unfortunately selling the farm for Kelly has left us with no trade currency. Freo will get Narkle too. Probably both for the pick GWS give Freo for Hogan.
As an ex- SouthWester you must lament the loss of the satsuma plum!softer and mushier the better, it's still figs for me at No 1.
So that's about 7.5% of the current cap if paid the same each year. Even if it's back loaded it's a lot of cap space. Plus Smith. No doubt something will have to give. We were led to believe Gaz was not on much.So the rumoured amount that Geelong paying Cameron in 4.75million /5years .
Gws would have to match .
Not like Cameron would change his mind and stay at GWS

Okay, no response..
The reason I asked is that there was an interesting gathering at a western suburbs hotel this evening. Simmo, Glass, Doogs and Young. Fairly informal but Young doing a bit of "behind the hand" comments to Simmo while Doogs and Glassy were talking. Simmo bought the snacks, a bit of finger pointing and nods in agreement and generally good natured meeting. Went for a good 3 hours.
Young presents as a dickhead!

Note that Larke medallists generally turn out to be very good players, of the 10 year, 200 game types. The last dud was probably Cale Morton in 2007.
Very impressive. Been tracking him for a while now as a long term option for the replacement of Jetta that is likely to be available for our selections.
What has surprised me is how well he has adapted to playing midfield this year - his hands remain glue at ground level and he reads play so well.
Massive upside about him, but he is still very raw and his fitness levels need to improve dramatically.
Still would be happy to pick him up as a rookie spot.

Pretty decent stable of talent to be honest. Thanks ....and WCEs clients?
Vardy is out of contract. Hickey is contracted until next year.If we've got Williams, Jameison and Oscar if needed to back up Nic, we don't need Hickey or Vardy. If Sydney want him, take the pick and keep it moving. Vardy is contracted and we're unlikely to move him anyway so ship Hickey.
Dear god I hope he doesn't get a $500k contract already. Doesn't have the runs on the board and a clear position where you can say he will make it in that role at AFL levelSay he is asking for 400-500k i think we could easily fit him in.
As i said we will have a lot of cash free next year so at first he doesn't earn as much in his first year.
Then you have Hutchings & Jetta who in total could easily be 500k a year so there are two players you could sacrifice is need be.
IF there is talk of us trying for Cripps next year then we a 100% have money lying around.
WC are very good at the way they handle their salary cap.
Thanks....@ 10% commission a very healthy business!Pretty decent stable of talent to be honest.
Perhaps their pick 22 and 54 (ish) for our 30?If we get pick 22 for Hickey, someone should report a robbery to the police.
The astute posters on here have been saying this for a year. It was only the typical alarmists that were sprouting the "sell your future" crap.Everyone still seething we gave way to much for Kelly but that first round pick of our just keeps getting worse and worse.
Currently 15, with Crouch compo will push out to 16 and with Academy and F&S likely out to 20+
So let’s just call it 20 for the moment.
We gave pick 16,27 & 38 last year.
So we gave them 16,20,27
& 38 in two average drafts.
If you take out the pick we have from Geelong which I think will be mid 50’s or lower after academy clusters it’s around 2900 draft points.
Collingwood gave up picks 8, 9 and 65 for Treloar and got back pick 33. Essentially they paid 2547 points for Treloar.
Essendon gave up picks 11 and 14 and got back pick 42. Essentially 2100 points for Shiel.
So we essentially gave the equivalent of pick 45 more than Collingwood did for Treloar and pick 24 more than Essendon did for Shiel.
Hardly selling the farm.
I don’t know about everyone else but I’ll take Tim Kellyover those four picks and those two players any day of the week.PLAYERCARDSTART11Tim Kelly
