Good topic.

Here's a few...

West Coast footballer.

Loyal West Coast Eagles supporter.

Talented West Coast Eagles player.

Coach Judge.

Tough West Coast Eagles outfit.

Life long West Coast fan.

West Coast Eagles Brownlow medallist.

Eagles toughness.

West Coast Eagles Football Club.

Fancy that..... West coast eagles AND football AND club in the same sentence. Must be a joke.... oh ... now i get it.

Well, I'm leaving for Geelong in a couple of minutes ..... confident of another win.... when was the last time you had that feeling, Frodo? 96? 97? LOL**

Never in all of football will you see a supporter base abandon there team at 3 quater time like the eagles supporter base do.

I don't know, the Crows supporters are notorious for it.. it used to frustrate me at Crows games when you'd see them streaming out of the ground at ¾ time. I thought they were the only supporters guilty of that until I saw a couple of Eagles games here.

You should never leave at ¾ time, you're not a true supporter if you do.

Oh well, those bandwagon supporters can jump off and support Freo for all I care. You can have them and then we won't have to put up with WC supporters leaving at 3 qrt time then will we?

Brilliant comment from Brian Taylor at &frac34 time at the Richmond / Melbourne game in Round 1 this year...

"...and if you listen very carefully you can hear the sounds of the Range Rovers starting up!"

Brilliant!

Especially love the one:

"lifelong WCE supporter"

My youngest son is about the same age as that club. Mind you, we haven't won a premiership for quite a while. That's why we're such a hardy lot!

Well done, Westy Boy!

Freo supporters are as hardy as it comes

LOL yer I heard that comment before.
It could also be used to describe eagles supporters, its a bit like the worst from both worlds.

Good reply Westy Boy and true enough, sabre. When I was a West Coast member in '89 (Please forgive me, God) their "supporters" left QUITE early. They even left Burswood Casino early when the match was on the big screen there. I especially remember watching that 'fantastic' effort at Windy Hill while in the warm comfort of Burswood. By the end of the match, I was just about the only one still there! I wonder why??? Happy memories!

Very few leave at three quarter time now, and even if 25% did leave there would still be more Eagles fans at the end of the match than there are Freo supporters at any time in a match.

Nice counter Westy ;)

Not for long, if the weagles keep losing they won't have anymore supporters than Freo, how many members did the weagles lose this year, for the first time they took people off the waiting list & emailed membership forms to anyone who had entered the west coast site, whether they were weagle supporters or not. That is what is called desperate.

Maybe next year they might let the members have a say on how the club is run, instead of leaving it up to the corporates & merchandising people.

I was not having a go at your team for the sake of it, but sticking up for the shockers. OK your membership is OK this year, but you have to admit you had a big drop this year & if you end up near the bottom at the end of the year, you might not have many more members than them.
All I am saying is that the weagles can no longer be smug thinking they are the best in the west, they can no longer take that for granted.

After 12 defeats in a row perhaps all your supporters should walk out at three quarter time as a protest. Maybe then it may spark some real change.

I think that just about says it all.

Ok folks we now have proof.
Eagle supporters are as fickle and pathetic as if comes.

Eagles supporter and club loyalty now there is about the biggest contradiction of terms you will ever see.

:p :p :p :p :p

All I'll say is that the Eagles will turn over a bigger profit than Fremantle will this year.

Ahh its all about the money with you eagle supporters isnt it.

And what does profit have to do with supporter loylty

Misguided loyalty perhaps!
Freo fans staying to the end and applauding their team for their 12th straight loss. What message does that give to the club? The message is 'we don't mind losing, we will cheer whatever rubbish you put on for us'. And that is what you are calling loyalty Sabre. Acceptance of low standards. And whilst you cheer rubbish that is all your going to get.
