...is beginning to resemble a typical Richmond win/loss record.

5F - 18A, the most conceded (Kirk/Buddy each have 17), and the league's leading difference of -13 (Luke Hodge follows with -12).

At the moment Boris' Will Slade emulation isn't hurting as we've been winning games by comfortable margins, but his haphazard approach could cost us in a close match, especially as we've -at least twice now- conceded a disproportionate number of frees inside our D50.

Boris has been an important option across half-back, but I'd like to see the coaching staff running him through extra tackling and spoiling drills to help sharpen his technique, er...if he has time to spare after kicking practice.

I was under the impression alot of those frees against were the result of holding the ball decisions..

Thinking back, I can't recall alot of frees being paid for negligent spoiling or tackling, but I can recall him being caught with the pill more than once.

He can be expensive. He takes a while to make decisions and as a result can get caught out. He is not undisciplined or hot headed IMO, he is just a tad slow.

As expensive as he is, i believe his work as a link man is permissible. He provides us another option in the midfield, which has contributed to much of our success this year (mid depth). Most of his frees against (FA) are in the midfield rather than in the back line (due to the extra component of pressure) and are consequently less damaging than say, a Scarlo or Egan FA.

The most memorable of free's against. It may just be my impression, but I've become frustrated by a number of tackles laid that have become free kicks for in the back. Generally I sympathise with the tackler, "bad luck, good effort", but it's happening a little too frequently with Boris. I do accept your point they're mainly occurring in the midfield.

Can anyone access a break-down of Enright's frees conceded? Mark Stevens?? I may've rubbished you in the past, but here's a chance to pen another article whacking the cats?

And if he does pen another article rubbishing the cats will you whack him again?

More probably a monarchy of indifference.
ummm.
poor.
very poor.
woundt that be, if you were going this way, a democracy of indifference? Cant really go the opposite of one and use Monarchy as the opppsite of tyranny when in fact more often than not they are one and the same, with the democracy being the only form of open elected represetnatvie and peaceful govenment known to Man.......thank god for the Greeks........however the invention of man love not rating high on their lists of achievements (no offence intended - personal opinion only).

Corey Enright = well and truely the most overrated player on our list, and has been for a long time.

All this ratio shows is what I've been saying for over a year. If the guy attacked the footy and won some contested ball rather than attacking the man he might win some free kicks. This bloke is such a bloody passenger, but almost untouchable at the same time... a little strange.

So strange it doesn't make sense...

Obviously his value to the team lies other than his kicking and the free kicks against he gives up.

So good to know you are sharing the bagging around not picking on Ling or anyone else just a member of the cats winning combo!!!

Love your way of still finding ways to be negative when all is ok..

Why not have a go at me for getting behind a guy that is trying his best so what he makes mistake dont we all

For the last 3 years Enright has been considered one of our better wingmen/midfielders...this year he finds himself in the back pocket. I think that says alot about where he is at. The advantage he has playing in the backline is that he can move the ball quickly which is a cornerstone of our gameplan. He is still a useful player but it looks like his role has changed in the team.

If it's so obvious, why not share exactly what his value is with the rest of us?

If it's so obvious, why would I need to point it out to you marty?

The match committee seem to have time for him... But I suppose they're all morons who know nothing about football.

You claim it's obvious to you so lets hear it? I made it pretty clear that I didn't understand why. You have once again attempted to write yourself out of a stupid situation. Did I expect any less? NO.

Have a think marty. Try and put your bias aside for a second and think. The club obviously knows his value, so try and work that brilliant mind of yours to figure out why.

If he was as hopeless as you say would he be such a regular in the side?

Carnt say that anyone would say hes hopeless catempire, he gets enough of the ball to be a good player, but its simply his disposals and frees that make him look bad to people. and we all know he can get away with it now, but it will really be questioned in time

Tony, martyk says he's hopeless (or words to that effect).

As I've said many times, if he was in the team for his kicking he would have been delisted long ago. He brings far more to the table than that and should be judged accordingly.

See Tonycam. This bloke puts his own spin on your posts to try and make himself look righteous... Catempire go and crawl into one of many holes you've created for yourself... PLEASE!

Everyone has different opinions , best just agree to disagree, Marty has a good point but I would have him in my side for sure, done a fair job this year ,but thats because Im happy with the whole team at the moment. The thing is if you think its hot on Boris now , wait until we lose a game or two.

Can't you take your own advice?

I think we all know who we would rather on the forum.

Why do you need to get involved? At least your buddy has something interesting to post, your his little bitch who chimes in with nothing of any value... truely pathetic

Everyone's entitled to their opinions Tony. But when someone can't see the forest through the trees, they need to be called on it (not you, marty).
