Phenomena like influencers are a sad reflection on our society as a whole. The vast majority are vacuous, pointless, soul sucking narcissists. The rare good ones stand no chance against the veritable ocean of mindless *******s out there.
Yep, that’s why I follow the ones with a couple thousand followers who actually stick to their purpose wether that’s giving fashion advice or skincare. And then there is a bigger issue of them being a performance activist or being predators (James Charles). I feel sorry for the poor girls who actually fall into the trap of the big influencers because they manipulate them.

The unions also sent everyone home today at 9:30 so there’s a few that aren’t happy about that. Originally they told workers they would work 7 to 1, no break and get paid full day (8 hours) but obviously the businesses weren’t happy with that so they sent everyone home at 9:30 and said they only get paid for the hours they work. Bit of a s**t show

What about the peanut who reckons they’re fighting communism. This is a very small percentage of CFMEU members that are deep into conspiracies. Like 5G microchip type stuff
HAHAHAHA it’s so funny but sad because they need to meet all the Covid ICU workers who fking are working extremely long shifts with no lunchroom.

communism is when no lunchroom 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

First they will scream about communism, the next day it will be fascism, the next day Marxism, the next day Capitalism, the next day Socialism.

+1 bunch of whining little bitches that need a good bollocking. Self entitled pricks.
They sure do! Like they are still employed, there are hundreds of thousands of people who would do anything just to get an income.

They’re trashing their own union. I wonder how the media will report this? Will they say it’s a CFMEU protest or will they say it’s a bunch of anti vaxx cfmeu workers protesting against their own union because the union supports the vaccine mandate? Should be an interesting watch.

The people who turned up at the headquarters today probably just realising they’ll be out of a job unless they get vaccinated.

That is a whole different kettle of fish than what occurred in this instance only. Now if you disagree with the premise that the CHO gets to decide on lockdown, then get the law changed.

Instead we have police that are in hospital because people decided to ignore the laws that don't suit them.

Their actions are totally indefensible in my book. This being 'pre-emptive' is just crap, and can be used to literally justify anything you want.
I'm not justifying people who attacked the cops cos all they see is a uniform not a person (tho I've felt similar when I was young) but its stupid to ignore that as a factor and I reckon they did the other day. Or they wanted what happened to happen for the optics of it.

The cops didn't need to be there and they didn't need to have the sort of strategy they needed in Richmond. Its all about exerting authority, which is exactly what the protestors are reacting against. They are claiming this is an authoritarian lockdown, not an authoratitive one. They showed that was the case and while most people won't listen some people will and these things will escalate.

I think it was dumb.

But I really don't like the scapegoating that is going on here. A year or two ago I would have joined in too but its clear that the same divisive "othering" that was used against BLM marchers is happening here. I don't think its healthy. And I do get why people who are doing the right thing are annoyed.

But use some mental Ju-jitsu Dictator Dan, ffs.

These people want a confrontation so they can recruit from it. Just let them march around Richmond for an hour or two, they will get bored and then they will go home feeling like they accomplished something cos they defended their freedum. Now its something to give them meaning and its becoming a cause.

In First Blood, the first Rambo movie before things escalate Trautman is talking to the cop, Teasle, just as things are escalating and tells him to call the manhunt off, let him escape and in a month or two bust him somewhere working a car wash or something. The cop says no and ties his authority to busting Rambo.

He lets his ego get in the way of resolving the situation peacefully and with minimal disruption.

That is very similar to what happened in Melbourne the other day.

I said it the other day. Mental health issues have been surfaced over by gainful employment.
you take purpose away from a large section of the community and we’ll probably see a lot of fireworks. Especially from people most likely being the main breadwinner in the household.
