That is bad news given there have probably been additional infections up to two weeks prior.

Local residents returning from visiting family in Russia.

Dunno how long they were in the community, nor what isolation factors have been introduced aside from these folks.

What's the logic behind them going back for 1 day tomorrow?

Maybe so the staff can be told directly what's expected of them, etc...

Plus, parents who will need to take leave to look after their children can go to work on Monday to speak to their managers, get leave approved, etc...

In this instance, most likely yes.

Covid19 is recognized by the adaptive immune system, and the higher adaptive immune response in a young person would see the response to infection arrive quickly.

In fact, when a vaccine does arrive, it should be administered in preferential order according to age 65+ & comorbidity factors, then non age related comorbidity, and finally upon a sliding scale of age from 65 to 3 years of age.
When a vaccine arrives it will no doubt be administered in preferential order to health and age care workers, police and emergency workers, seniors over 65, government workers and Defence personnel, then the broader community. Expect that that will be the order in which it is administered.

In the mean time we need to do what it takes to help flatten the rate of infection to allow the health system to cope and respond over the next eight weeks which will be critical. It is expected to peak around late April in Australia, the more that we can do to reduce that peak the better. 👍👍👍

We're all going to die...............anyway.

There's a happy thought.

At least all those who bought all the toilet paper will be able to make nice mummifications of themselves. 😁 Besides, the Sun's shining outside, we haven't embarrassed ourselves against the rabble from Moorabbin, our match attendance was actually up on last year ... so all is well with the world. 😉

As bad as that is, surprisingly low death count, most of those who died were old people returning from travel overseas.
you may find the death rate for Au looks better than the US due to the lack of testing in the US. this means that most of the diagnosed cases have been from people that have actually needed medical attention and many effected people in the US who haven't needed assistance are not represented in the figures.
