I cant believe this player keeps getting a game he is not the future of our club watched him play last week he has no idea worst indigenous player in the AFL. Why play him ?

has proven in the past that he can do a shutdown role either in the midfiled or defence which releases some of our prime movers.

i think he is alright. he's a good team player and he's exactly what we need with such a young side.

I don't care who you are if you cant play you cant play he is a hack

There are a lot worse players on our list than Mcgrath. He tries his guts out week in, week out and I don't think more can be asked from him. This criticism isn't warranted, we all know that he isn't a superstar, but at the moment we have many young players in the reserves still getting their body's right for the rigours of AFL football. In the meantime, whilst these players develop, I am happy to give Mcgrath a spot in the 22. Once they are ready, Corey will be moved aside.

no i'm not. he's not outstanding i admit and i agree he is not the future of our club but at the moment he serves a purpose.

Agreed.
His disposal at times frustrates (but whos doesn't) but he is good at those negative roles.

Cory McGrath is the most professional guy at the club in regards to his preperation and he's a good, ordinary player. You can't have 36 19-20 year-olds on your list, also.

He's a good depth player.

Cory McGrath deserves to be getting a regular game.

Expect a 100% effort when he is near the ball.

Remember when we bet Melbourne? He was one of our best.

However, when it's time for him to go, he will be off loaded but it will not be this year.

Agree with the previous two comments.
He can do a job in the back line and one of the few who has a long penetrating kick and can hit a target. I think his disposal is better than most in the side.

He was played as more of a half forward flanker last week and i thought he actually looked pretty good in that position, showed he can take a mark and lead his player to the ball, not our worst player by a long shot and deserves his spot in the 22.
