Not unless he plays in career best form for the entire season and our other key forwards get abducted by aliens/injured.

Not 100. He will find it hard to mantain this good form and kick the goals week in week out. I'm just hoping him and Lloyd have this all on the same day, 14.4.07

If Lloyd and Lucas can kick 150 between them, that would be a sensational result. I don't think either will get close to 100, Lloyd might get 90.

If he played a full season at CHF he could give it a shot but me thinks when times are bad he will be spend some time down back .

sooner or later they'll start playing number 1 defenders on him which will make it difficult, and when Lloyd starts firing will take a heap off him too.

not impossible, but very difficult.

Technical point, but I had to answer the question.

'Could' he kick 100 goals, of course he could, you can't discount the chance that it could happen.

'Will' he kick 100 goals, I find it unlikely, but I wouldn't see not getting to the ton as a failure, hopefully he just keeps kicking 3 or 4 a game!

I don't think so. Tough ask for a CHF, even though he is in great form. I expect that Lloyd will start kicking more than Lucas as the season progresses and his touch/confidence is fully restored.

Spot on MinerBoy, Lloydy is still finding his feet but is still performing, lookout when he starts firing. Lucas is in no doubt career best form. Both have the potential to kick 100 but I dont mind who is kicking goals for Essendon as long as we get the 4pts. The beauty of Lucas/Lloyd is that if one has an off day, chances are the other one will be firing

No way. He's in great form, but I dont rate Lucus, mainly because he implodes when it counts. The superstar forwards of the game (e.g. Fev, Hall), just get better as the pressure increases. Lucus is a classic example of a player knowing his limitations, and being able to get the absolute maximum out of the limited skill set he possesses e.g. watch Lucus on his wrong side or trying to handball. With Lloyd's performance tapering as the years progress, Lucus provides a valuable alternative forward option for the Dons. :)

Lucas' best may not be as good as those two, but he has been an excellent player for far longer and more consistently.

Also, very good big game player. He certainly doesn't implode. Ask Bomber's supporters how he played in the 2000-01 Grand Finals.

Parrot give me an example of Lucas imploding when it counts? I feel it is quite the opposite, in general Lucas steps up when the game is there to be won. For example last week when Fremantle hit the lead it was Lucas who nailed 4 goals from near 50 to fend them off.

He nailed the sealer against Adelaide from 50 from the boundary the week before. He was arguably Essendons BOG in the 2001 GF with four goals. Lucas doesnt implode when it counts he steps up.

It is interesting that you mention Hall after last years GF.

When was Fev last in a game that actually counts for something?

Yes Hall was outstanding in last years GF.

I'd rather Lucas kicking 60 and Lloyd kicking 80, than Lucus kicking 30-40 and 90 -100.

Have two outstanding forward options is better than one alone. Most teams have one champion key defender ... not many have two.
