So youre above a person that can't afford to shop outside of kmart? You sir, are a douchebag!

It's called a fashion choice.. each to their own. I always opt for clothing that is fitted not conventional. I'm not a fan of displaying labels either.

The guy far right.. looks like he's wearing a nice pair of shoes and fitted jeans.. you can get away with a look like that if you shop at Cotton On.. jeans and shirts look pretty decent and dirt cheap.

I dont even know what you're talking about.. i have actually copped shit for being a fashionista from kmart clothed wearing folk. I love good fashion.. not 2 striped sneakers from kmart. It's just an observation. I never did say i was above the kmart green jacket wearing bloke even though I'd rather go topless than wear that piece of shit jacket. No biggie mate.

So when players are asked who is the best and worst dressed at the club.. the bloke they do say is the worst dressed.. are they saying they're above that person?

Ade mate.

I'm waiting for the limited edition

"Bucks Coach of the Year" t-shirt.....

Just have to go ask the people with the I Love Bucks Signs:straining:

When AFL Collingwood merch is sold, every team gets a share.
So when you buy Collingwood gear, Collingwood get 1/18th of the AFL revenue.
To increase this share you MUST buy the gear through the Collingwood store or shop.
This way Collingwood get the retail share of the sake as well as the 1/18th.
All teams gave up their rights to logo, colours when the AFL was formed.

The implication that you "wouldn't be seen dead" wearing the jacket is that you think youre too good for Kmart clothing. Elitist. I seem to have pushed a button though with 4 separate replies about my comment... :P

Well sorry if you took offense to my post.. my comedy isn't for everyone.

I was at Rebel Sport today and not even an official ISC Collingwood guernsey is $99.
An official one from the club shop is $120.
.
The indigenous jumper was advertised on the scoreboard at the MCG today for a measly $130.o_O

Just thought id add that although i agree in principle with the fact Australia gets absolutley bent over on imports and many products that generate absurd prices, im not sure it actually applies here.

If you go to the Magpie Shop at the club at the end of the season, you can buy everything (in particular jumpers and what not) at much much lower prices. Last year i grabed an Indigenous Round Jumper, ANZAC Day Jumper and regular home and away jumper for $50.... For the lot...

Shows the absurd profit margins they have if they can sell them for less than $20 each and still make a profit. Sounds to me like more of an AFL issue rather than a Collingwood one trying to artificially inflate the value of a piece of fabric..

That was a special case - Star Athletic were offloading all their stock ahead of the change to ISC

You're right about the mark ups. At the AFL store inside the Olympic Stand entrance, we bought guernseys for $10 late last year. Can't remember which game it was, but obviously late in ther year. They were flying off the rack.

Even then i doubt they would be selling them at a loss
Why?

Many companies sell stock at a loss for varying reasons. One has been already mentioned.

As a business is it better to sell & get 20% back or just dump it for 0%?
