...and more to come with India, Singapore & USA trips next 6 weeks

The novelty of travelling has long worn off for me.

And in reference to the other thread which appeared today on JetStar (the Qantas budget airline) & Virgin Blue....

I need my priority check in, lounges, inflight entertainment, points etc. I think I have an allergy to discount airlines.

Did I mention the extra leg room?

I'm afraid to ask but how many languages do you speak?

I'm fluent in English and German, not bad in Russian and Spanish, functional in French and Hungarian.

Don't ask. It's a looooooooooong story.

The great thing about Russian is that all the other Slavic languages become intelligible, albeit they look like they were written by a 5-year-old Russian who can't spell properly yet ;)

Aside from home (UK)

Germany - Only briefly but I'd like to go back and spend a few days travelling up the Rhine (beautiful)

Tunisia - OK but probably wouldn't go back there.

Morocco - Really good. Would definetly revisit. Most notably Tangier and Marrakech.

Sri Lanka - Wonderful. Would definetly go back. Lovely people, many great sights (many things I didn't get chance to see), great curries, cricket mad, bloody hot and humid (avoid Colombo - worst of all and also has the only real security presence).

Turkey - Only did Istanbul and around but would go again and see more.

USA - Did NY and Boston this year. Would only do NY again to see friends and for major shopping. I liked Boston and could see a 'sports holiday' there at some time.

Canada - Went on from US to Ottatwa (pronounced Otter wahhh....) to meet friend and Montreal for a couple of days. Ottawa is a bit quiet and not really a tourist place. Liked Montreal and would like to return to Canada and investigate there and other places more one day.

I was born and lived in Macedonia until i was 15 ears old then i came here and have llived here for abour 5 and a half years. So i have only been in those 2 countries but i was living there not visiting! Haven't dont much traveling!
