is it true that he is starting to come good from his injury?
are we likely to see him play a senior game this year?

2-4 weeks ive heard and will prolly see him late in the year if we are safe top 4 or earlier if we fall away and wont make the finals...

Training report on Bomberblitz said he was still limping fairly badly - and if we ARE promoting another rookie, with Lovett-Murray's form, it would bode ill for Johns turning up any time soon.

He's had another set back from what I've heard. We won't see him this year, and it looks like a long road to make it unfortunately. Real doubts as to whether we'll ever see him play.

Mark Harvey on White Line Fever tinight said he has to go back to Perth for more surgey, to clean up bone fragments in his hip.
Perth because he will see the same surgeon that has done his last two ops.
Harvs said he should be back in Melbourne in 2-3 weeks, and will go from there.
When asked if he would play this year he was very non-committal.

Hmmm ... interesting! Goes against everything i've heard. You'd think Harvs would have told viewers outright that John's has no chance of playing this season.

I can't see him even playing a reserves game. Another what 6 weeks off? I hardly think we'll throw him in for one game in the last 4 rounds.
