This is one that I made a few weeks ago (but forgot to post) after GANTY suggested the idea of a merger b/w an AFL team and a rugby team for the net MOTW.

It's the brisbane lions and manly sea-eagles. (note*: Lion + Eagle = Griffin)

There's a couple of subtleties to this that you might not notice. That is the claw making up the top of the G in the Griffins logo, and the pupil of the griffin's eye in the logo which is the premiership cup (i know, really stupid)

That's what I was going for but it doesn't quite match. I guess you can't beat perfection.

Bugger! Should have posted my first attempt at a jumper here instead of of the clash jumper forum... such a newb.

I know it's hardly original, just wanted to see anyway.

I had exactly the same idea except two stripes and clash socks, so Port and Carlton dont have to wear theirs at home games.

I don't think he copied it. As he said, it's hardly original, it's not as if either is a ground-breaking design (no offence intended). I'm sure someone has made a jumper similar to that before you did yeatsey, and you didn't copy them did you?

Hardly:

Different template (no bib) round collar
Logo on the back
Different sponsors
Traditional socks (not All Blacks style)

... and most importantly the GOLD AFL logo

If we are really splitting hairs I actually lifted/modernised the jumper design used between 1976-1981.

This is my 'Tiger' stripe inspired Richmond clash jumper... if I have ripped off someone else's design, I'm sorry. My intentions were purely honourable

Ok my attempt at a Gold Coast design:

I know the general design (Red, blue stripe then yellow) is not totally original. I thought I would try and tone down the modern approach and go a bit more retro (including replacing the "GC"), in order to project a more 'established' feel.

A clash/away jumper for North. My mates well-up with tears each time they see the Kangaroos sporting the sky-blue strip.

I think that would be a great training/pre-match jumper.... in terms of on-field jumpers I must admit I prefer the traditional styles.

Everyone seemed to love the new Melbourne shield logo (including me) so I thought I'd have a go at one for Adelaide.

Not sure on the bird, But the rest of its good man- also try using the current SANFL logo

Thanks, 1. I used that Crow because the one from the current logo is just awful and I thought it may not use up lots of room on the shield, 2. I was contemplating which SANFL logo to use and I thought seeing as though I had used the current one to make the shape of the shield I would use the first logo on a State of Origin jumper. But thanks for the feedback anyway.

sorry man but i REALLY don't like this design. I prefer the original which is saying something because i REALLY don't like that either. No offense.

RGB colours are: 0, 255, 54. Hope that helps

I like this. I think the AFL should encourage all clubs to have both a 'Coat of Arms/formal' logo as well as a 'Mascot' logo for the kiddies.
