Now that the Bulldogs have revived their traditional jumper in favour of the mascot version. I was thinking what would West Coast, Gold Coast and GWS- the only teams with non-traditional stripes, hoops or vees- what would their guernseys look like. If West Coast joined the comp in 1886 instead of 1986 what would their jumper look like and so on. Sydney going back to the red vee on white and Bris going back to the best jumper! All 18 teams in traditional jumpers would be great to see.

In a speculative world, I'd say the Eagles would have a mainly blue kit, with a yellow monogram. Certainly was the theme of the day for many WAFL clubs back then.

I will have a verbal stab at this

West Coast would be blue with a gold sash (a la Williamstown)
Gold Coast would be red with a chamois yoke, later a gold yoke
GWS would be charcoal and orange stripes.

Another reason we need an adults-only board... so kids don't have to ask how words are pronounced

Hawthorn could do something special with their Guernsey.
They already have the appropriate colours!
