Obviously everything was about Jos Buttler last night. But Adil Rashid was only mentioned a few times, and more in the way that you just talk about someone who is taking up space, not as the number 10 batsman who took part in an 81 stand. I think David Lloyd mentioned him once after the game was over, and only in a very short sentence.

I guess there is a chance that Starc, Hazelhurst and Cummins plus Smith and Warner will all be available for selection come next World Cup. You never know with the Aussie fast bowlers they keep on finding ways to get injured.

An attack with Agar, Richardson and Stanlake does not have the same ring to it. Stanlake looked OK at times but we really need a bit more class leading the attack.

On top of that the mental scars from Capetown will have had some time to heal and hopefully Langer can build a mentally tough side in the time available.

Big Billy is pretty good, but the match report said "Stanlake's pace dropped noticeably in his final spell as the fast man tired". Bravely got through his 10 over though

Billy obviously needs to work on his fitness. Ten overs in two or three spells is not really a big ask.

West Indies currently 7/47 vs Sirry Lanka - and there was a 27 run partnership in that
Now 8 for 57. But the Windies still lead by 107, remembering that Sri Lanka only made 154 in their first dig. So if the tail can add another 15-20 runs, this could be a good finish.

Now 9/88 - a lead of 138. Bit of drama at the Sir Vanburn Holder end, Blowers:

An ambulance is onto the ground now. The SL players still surround him. The medics have come in now. Looks like the ambulance will take Perera away. He's still on the floor - face down - for the past five minutes or so. An independent doctor now comes into the middle on a golf cart. Even Chandimal's near the boundary line now to see Perera's situation.

MDK Perera to Gabriel, SIX runs, goes all the way! Flighted on off, and that's gone over long on. Oh dear, the fielder goes for the catch but doesn't see the advertisement board near the boundary. Crashes into it, and looks like Kusal Perera's in a lot of pain. The players rush to him. Shannon Gabriel looks worried too. Perera tried to catch the ball while it was going over the boundary, but he committed himself into the catch, and went face (and rib) first into the advertisement sign that runs around the boundary.

Aaron Finch has just hit a T20 International world record score of 166 not out against the Zimbo's in Harare. Score is 0/223 of 19.1 over Short is 46 n.o. and Fich 168 n.o.

When he got to 160, with a 6, he had faced 71 balls and hit 15 x 4's and 10 x 6's. that's 124 in boundaries. He had the previous WR of 156 off 63 balls v England at Southampton in 2013.

Finch got out for 176 off 76 balls, ie after he got to 160 he went 6,1,1, 2,2, gets bowled a wide but falls on his stumps so out on 77th ball although scoreboard says only faced 76.

Muzarabani to Finch, 1 wide, OUT, full and wide outside off stump, and Finch tries to cut it past point. He's overbalanced and falls over, and ends up hitting his bat onto his off stump. The ball's dislodged, and Finch has to go! Take a bow, sir! The highest T20I score ever by a batsman, having broken his own world record.
AJ Finch hit wicket b Muzarabani 172 (76b 16x4 10x6) SR: 226.31

Oz finish 2/229 as Short got out for 46 on 3 balls before Finch.

Bangladesh 43 all out in the first test against the Windies. Roach 5/8, Cummins 3/11, Liton Das 25.
West Indies 2/201 at stumps. Braithwaite 88 no, Smith 58, Powell 48.
More ducks(4) than fours(3) in the Bangladesh innings.

And one of the openers made 25 out of 43 - if he'd made a duck, we would have had a new world record.

Three of Roach's wickets were out for ducks. A story I found on espncricinfo says that the record for batsmen dismissed for a duck by the same bowler in an innings is 7, but this was in an English county match. 5 ducks or more to one bowler has happened 155 times, but the article says all forms of first-class cricket. Jermaine Lawson for the West Indies once took 5 in an innings against Bangladesh, I can't find any other occasion in tests where the one bowler has dismissed 5 batsmen for 0. This is definitely the record, there are instances where 6 batsmen have been dismissed for ducks in the same test innings but not by the same bowler.
Note: there was one test I came across where South Africa lost 5 batsmen in one innings for ducks, 2 of them top-order batsmen but they still scored 429 and won by an innings and 48 runs.

Aussies actually set a decent target in the T20 vs Pakistan - PAK 7/194 off their 20 overs.
Australia 4/67 in 10 overs, 128 in 10 overs required with Short, Stoinis, Carey, Agar, Tye, Jhye Richardson and Stanlake.

EDIT : Australia lost by 45 runs - 7/149.
