He's definitely not worth $4 million. Not sure I've ever seen a good innings from Green at test level

He played 1 good one in NZ, but that was 2 years ago. He's been living on "potential" for a long time now, without actually showing any signs of achieving that potential. Not sure I've ever seen a good innings from Green at test level
Was packed.Crowd of 54700ish
I think I know RichardWas packed.
Unfortunately had to leave just after lunch as Dad took a turn so we took an ambulance from the Oval to the RAH. The paramedical staff were brilliant as was the SACA attendant Richard.
In smaller crowds people can gravitate to shaded areas, or sneak into bar areas to cool offTBH its too full.
I like that they've opened up more areas for extra membership but theres just too many people now.
Yeah, he sat with us til paramedics arrived. Then helped arrange a wheelchair which we had to carry back down from near top of Westen Stand.I think I know Richard
Great fella
Is a cricket umpire too
All the best to your dad. Think a few people will struggle in the next day or two sadly
He looks way too loose for test cricket. Strange way to get outPretty poor effort from us on that pitch: it's a 400+ wicket.
Most of their wickets were gift-wrapped by us.
Inglis is not a test cricketer.
The days of walking are truly gone. He's definitely not worth $4 million.
You should have kept your mouth shut, Alex.
England considers complaint to ICC after Alex Carey’s Snicko admission
England is considering a complaint to the ICC after Snicko technology was at the centre of a dramatic moment which helped Alex Carey dodge dismissal and score his first Ashes ton.
England have spoken to the match referee and will consider lodging a formal complaint to cricket chiefs after an operator error with real time snicko robbed the tourists of Alex Carey’s wicket in Adelaide.
In a DRS howler which could potentially have an impact on the pivotal third Ashes Test, third party operator BBG Sports who operate real time snicko accidentally raised the sound from the wrong stump mic causing the nick from Carey’s bat to not sync with images of the ball passing the bat.
An operator error from BBG which is run by Warren Brennan, raised the sound from the bowler’s end instead of the batsmen’s end – prompting fury from England who should have had Carey out for 72 and been into Australia’s tail with the home side teetering on the scoreboard at 6-245.
It does seem more than a bit ridiculous, and staggeringly incompetent, that the technician used the microphone from the BOWLER's end for the Carey DRS decision.
Carey shouldn't have walked, but the techie who was responsible for that should be given his DCM (Don't Come Monday).
Better allrounder both bat and ball than Green by a country mile. I'll throw Cummins, Boland and Lyons in that mixThank god for Starc this series
I did wonder how the spike came to be BEFORE it passed the bat, given the extra time required for the sound waves to travel the length of the pitch. It's a weird one.Still sounds more of a 'calibration' issue.
If they were using the microphone at the other end wouldn't the 'spike' be even further AFTER it passed the bat.
Using the wrong microphone doesn't explain how the spike was still before the ball went past the bat.
