Terrible batting. It was obvious England were holding out for the new ball, and instead of attacking we just blocked out part-timers, then collapsed against the new ball. 17 runs for Smith for the session is abysmal. Missed a good opportunity to punish England’s weak 3rd, 4th and 5th bowlers. Very poor session for Australia.
