is it just me or does it seem that a lot of gang violence, drug crimes and firearms shootings in our city suburbs involve people that are new to the country? I was talking to a police mate and he said the statistics are there. I don't know if its because people who come here feel isolated and don't fit in and turn to crime or what -does anyone else think the same? I don't mean all migrants are crims cause we know that's not true but there seems to be a problem in certain sections who are marginalised-what do others think?

If you open the borders to people who are unskilled you must have the appropriate services in place to train, educate and support them. Currently, there is not enough support to let in as many as we do. When migrants feel and know they don't have much chance of succeeding, they do what others in society occasionally do. That is commit crimes to get money and property!
