This is probably my biggest concern, it looks like it could have a bit of an identity crisis.I saw on twitter that this has jetpacks and I'm now very confused about what this game is.

I’m the opposite. I love the meshing of different genre tropes. Makes it a bit different. This is probably my biggest concern, it looks like it could have a bit of an identity crisis.

I think if you're on consoles and it isn't a pro this is going to be a rough ride.

I have a pro and pre-ordered earlier.
Did not find all the game systems to be fatiguing or stressful to deal with
I'll be using the balanced mode on PS5 with my LG C4 Oled other games that have this option look and play great on my tvI think if you're on consoles and it isn't a pro this is going to be a rough ride.
Really don't know what to think with this one, doesn't look like a total disaster or anything but feel like it won't live up to the hype.
Reviews are out and mostly pretty good!!

That aligns with the earlier reviews of no hand holding. Sounds like it'll be a good game to just lose yourself in.Seems the main issues reviewers are reporting is a lackluster narrative/story, steep learning curve with no/minimal tutorials for the myriad systems in the game and some wonky controls.
I'll still give it a crack, pretty crazy that they actually do seem to have delivered on the technical aspects.
