88,000 for Melbourne and St.Kilda in 98?
thats incredible.

Essendon and Westcoast got 85,000 thats pretty good considering Westcoast are an interstate side.

I also noticed richmond and essendon got 88,000 too.
Thats 11,000 more than Essendon and Richmond last week.

It goes to tell you how much of the crowd is dropping off because of the price of the tickets!

Should note that the Melb v St.K and Ess v WCE matches you mentioned were both 'series ticket' matches and the only Melbourne finals played on their respective weekends. Next week's Richmond v Carlton match also fits in that category!
