I am ready to be criticised but I am trying to look to the future as well

I have gone for the three ruckman for two reasons. One is all three of them a Versatile Ruckman and the other is if we dont play Maric and Meeson next year we will lose them.

The same goes for Knights.

I went for Bock in place of Perrie as I believe he gives us more Flexibility.

Unfortunately as much as I love Bodester and Mass I could not find room for them as the youngsters all need to start playing. Therefore they will be used more for depth purposes.

Yes and as noted those in that bracket could play all 22. Its more about getting the next generation ready and these players in that section are all under pressure to perform. ie a Reilly could have a few games spell to give a Knights or Pfeiffer a run

cool cool, good observation. i just think that players like reilly and doughty shouldnt be in line to take 'spells' to let young kids have a go. they should really be pressing for 22 solid games and a top 10 best and fairest finish, atleast from reilly anyway. it is his time to shine.

Roo needs to play up forward as does Bck, with the absence of Rowdy, a forwardline consisting of Perrie, McGregor and Welsh is pretty damn average.

Roo can't run in the midfield anymore anyway, plus it is time our young guys played significant time on the ball.

Gone for Meesen over Maric, but I expect both to get plenty of games in 2007.

For me Douglas must be fast tracked.

van Berlo to become our main run-with player, with Shirley coming off the bench.

Can't find room for the likes of Torney, Massie or Poroplyzia, but I expect they will play most games with injuries.

With this in mind I wont be surprised to see Roo in the middle or Jericho given more opportunities or minimal change as the guys who have been playing will continue to earn more game time.
the new guys will be learning in the SANFL, with maybe 2-3 of them actually deserving and getting a game. Gill being one of them.
