The 6 month payout clause only applied to Clubs who received AFL financial support thru CoVid ......of course these are the Clubs that continually make dumb decisions .....wasting supporters hard earn't membership contributionsAnother poorly thought through policy from the AFL. So a coach can only get a 6m payout even if they have 3 years left on their contract? How about fix the root cause, poor decision making by clubs, rather than punish the coach?
If a club wants to remove a coach in contract, then pay them out. If you can't afford to, then keep them and live with your decisions.
