Grotto had a crack at him one night and then went down the accusation of mental health stuff, which was poor and hypocritical given I’ve seen him post about his own mental battles.
Anyway hopefully he’s just called it quits on bigfooty and not something serious.

He was a piece of work. I recall him having a go at a poster who regularly posted around 5am. Just because he disagreed on average, his post was basically ‘who gets up at 5am just to post smack on other posters’. People post when they post.

The term is insulting to those called Karen though. I know kids at the time this became popular who were named Karen. My mums name was Karen. It really is just modern day bullying. To this day I never saw a need for it other than a way to bully someone complaining about something into silence.

No it was a shortcut as a descriptor

In this case the Karen term wasnt just used to silence complaints. It became a generic term used by a lot of men in particular to bully women into silence. I saw it used in newspapers and in the media particularly in the USA against female politicians basically telling them to shut up, how dare they speak out of turn. It was and i believe still is a massive insult used by those who dont think of women as equals.

I did see the funny side when it was used correctly however.

Plus Jan was the lady who caused her boss to be unhappy. But same can be said I guess for Chatty Cathy etc. So I get the point.
