Crows games and free kicks!

Has anyone else noticed....it seems that every crows games the umpires are told to pay every single free kick they think is there, including all the tiggy touchwood frees. There are so many free kicks in crows games its not funny. I thought it was just a one off in the showdown, but the umpires have continued that into the last tow games!!!
This is the count so far:
Round 1: 23
Round 2: 34
Round 3: 43
Round 4: 50
Round 5: 44

137 frees in the last 3 games...thats a shitload of fre kicks!!! What is it with Adelaide games and free kicks?? Does the AFL purposely give Adelaide games the erratic useless umpires?

Or am i making mountain out of an anthill here?

Surprising statistics.

Generally it is to be expected at Football Park games.

Unusual for ANY non-Victorian team to get the upper hand while playing in Melbourne.

Perhaps it is more indicative of the low standard of AFL umpires.

Three field umpires per game is too many. The "talent" (and i use that word loosely) is spread too thin.

Well Macca, it's finally happened. I agree with you.

Far to many frees in all Adelaide games. It doesn't seem to matter where they play there are just a lot of em. I can't see any major difference in the way Adelaide play that causes it.

Last night there were more frees for the Roos than Adelaide 24-19 so it's not a home town thing.

I agree that each week we see perhaps 12 umpires who are genuinely up to the standard. That leaves 12 more who are not.

The real problems are when two of these substandard umps are in the same game. I suspect three of them were thrown together for last nights game.

Yeah i think The crows game last night and the port game today that 3 shonky umpires. 44 frees last night, and 56 today!!! Port got 33 free kicks!! Mind you most of them were there as Geelong played the man something chronic...but the umpires seem to be playing every single thing this year, which is different from past years where sometimes youd be lucky to get about 8 frees in a game
