Given the injuries to VB, Needles, Jericho and sore spots of the Roo and Kenny it would be interesting to find out how our boys (who is left?) in the SANFL fared this weekend?

Please tell us here if you have any information.

Is Griffen still playing for Centrals reserves or is he out injured again for example?

How did Sugars play after kicking 10 last week?

Griffen got best for Centrals reserves, Bonnadio got best for Wests reserves, Elliot got best for Souths Reserves, Torney got in the best for Souths, Skipworth in the best for the Eagles and Vince got through the Eagles game with Sugars, Redden, Messen and Gibson still to play.

Don't know about - Obst

Thanks for the info Jo 172, appreciated.

Disappointing to hear that Needles out for at least a month, The Walls is out for the year, Dougie out for another 5, Pfeiffer out for some time still.

This is on top of Welsh, Clarke, Hart, Van Berlo, Huddo, Bock, Perrie.

Roo, Goody and Kenny also have injury clouds according to paper this morning.

Is Gibson also out at the moment?

We cannnot afford to have too many more injuries.

The bye cannot come soon enough.

Central fans - Griffen BOG now on two occasions since his return - is he close to making the Seniors.

Elliott- BOG on Saturday - how many games has he now played since injury? Is he close for a call up to the Senior side?

Sugars after 10 goals must have been stiff not to get into Glenelg's side?

Redden got into the BP's the other week. Is he back training with us or is he still just at the Bay?

If I was Hinge I would be giving a 110% for the Bays today. He could come into consideration next week if he has a good one today.
The forgotten man.

Hell do we need Gibson to be a good one!!!

Could this be the end for Jericho?? He now gets no more chances to redeem himself.

Like all clubs, Adelaide will have to delist at least 3 players at year end, and being a super draft, will possibly delist 4.

I'm struggling to get 4 names, as players such as Massie and Stevens that have previously looked like certainties to go have played well when given opportunity.

Clarke to retire - that's one.

Jericho IMO will make 2.

Skipworth maybe?

Griffin and Hinge - are they coming along well enough??

Thoughts, anyone??

I was at the North V West game on Saturday. Got to have my first look at Bonnadio. Wow, he is huge. He's 19?? Makes the rest of the opposition in the ressies look very small. He played CHF and dominated the whole game. Every forward thrust by westies went through Bonnadio, when he couldn't take the grab, he at least made a contest and brought westies running players in to the game. He was clearly best on ground and I would say that he would get a call up to the seniors next week, after watching the senior side and their lack of makring forwards. Just a side note, the areas he needs to work on are his aerobic capacity and his defensive side of his game. If he works on these, he will make it.

Porps looked like he was going to have a pretty good day for the belting that his side was in for.

A little extra: I saw a kid that I think that the Crows should be looking at. Shane Edwards for North, he is 17. Great kick, runs and tackles hard andreally puts his body on the line. He kicked 3 goals and gave a couple off as well. Walsh from the Power was on him and he did not pay him enough respect.

Shane Edwards is a class act, he only made his debut a couple of weeks ago but hes a gem. Same goes for McIntyre (almost like a young Ben Hart) and Pfeiffer goes alright. His last quarter on debut against Port is one of the best you will ever see!

Skippy might get another chance. Jericho will be gone IMO. Griffen and Hinge are in trouble or we might save Griffen and Delist Skippy. Another possibility is delisting some people and then adding them onto our Rookie list again.

I was at the Eagles vs South game. Skipworth played pretty well. Vince was fairly quiet. Was caught holding the ball a couple of times being run down from behind. Torney was pretty good as well. Took plenty of strong marks in defence. Seemed to move fairly well and will hopefully be ready for an AFL game this weekend.

Would be interested in reading people's views on whether Ben Warren (19 for South) would be worth a shot for the Crows next year? Could be a direct replacement for Jericho in the squad.

I'm still tipping a very proactive trading period.

Who are we going to give up? And what would you like to receive in return

The players that could potentially be involved in the end of season trade, delist or retirement plans of the AFC would be

Trade – Mattner, McGregor, Jericho, Bode,

Delist – Griffin, Skipworth, Stevens,

Retire – Clarke,

Delist Stevens? Who's gonig to be back up now? The 17/18 year olds we draft? Trade Mcgregor? He's good trade bait but We have no KPP's at the moment. I doubt Obst will be ready for AFL ney year.

Why would I be?

Stevens is no chance to be delisted, Mattner is no chance to be traded and Kenny's less-than-stellar season would not have done good things to his trade value.

Beyond that, who the **** would take Jericho in their right mind? He's almost a certainty to be delisted.

And Bode would get no takers either...hard at it, but too many limitations.

I am sick of people saying ‘no way, **** that we are never going to do that’ with out given any viable option, it’s very easy to criticise someone who is giving there own opinion.

If you don’t agree with Scott Stevens being delisted how about sticking your neck out and give us 3 name you would delist (as in the AFL it’s compulsory to do so)

Also take into consideration it a super draft and the club will want to add possibly 5 or 6 different player to look towards the future.

Scott Stevens’s replacement as back up Centre Half Back next year would be Chad Gibson, and if he isn’t up to it then McGregor would be able to go back and we have a different forward set up.

5 weeks ago he was dead man walking, and IMO he hasn’t shown enough to keep his place on the list.

He is not going to replace Nathan Bock or Ian Perrie in the first 22.

He is still soft as butter and is yet to show he has any genuine pace; he has played good games again Richmond, Carlton, Essendon and Brisbane but what key forward has he shut out of the game?

Let see how he goes next week when he has to stand Nick Riewoldt (because Ben Rutten will take Gehric) and then if he has to stand Cameron Mooney from Geelong.

If Jericho was played as a 3rd forward he could kick 25 – 30 gaols as a 3rd forward. Put him with Fevola (and Waite) or Lloyd (and Lucas) and he would be a very damaging forward.

I had Stevens pencilled in as a definite delist at years end. However, with the run of injuries we have had this year to KPP, I think we may keep him for depth.

As for Jericho, i'm not quite sure why people think he has any form of trade value. We would be lucky to get a 3rd rounder. Other clubs don't go paying the earth for players who are as "outside" as Jericho and who have no physical presence/aggression whatsoever.
