whats been said is exactly correct, we dont want the club to work miracles, you'll win some and lose some when it comes to trades, but for JR and co to have such a defeatist attitude when the situation isnt really all that bad is beyond me.

oh and huddo's situation isnt too bad, but you would hope the club is leaning on Johnny meesen to do the right thing by them to improve our situation

in the right environment i reckon schulz would do pretty well. last 2 seasons he has averaged 1.2 and 1.3 goals per game and that is despite being mismanaged in a richo-centric forward line.

he has the potential to be a 50 goal forward.

Fair enough if you have seen Meesen outside of AFC games, obviously I haven't seen anything else of him.

Maybe because I've seen more Brisbane games, but I'd take Wood over Meesen in a second.

As for Roo - great way to discuss the issue...

I have a lost of respect for Josh Fraser for the way he handled his injury in the finals series, and chose to put his team first.

His comments, prior to today was that we are dealing from position of weakness. I agree with him 100%.

What I pissed me off today is that he has entirely written off the possibility for letting players walk into the PSD and would take pretty much whats offered.

Thats what I have a problem with. You expectations of pick 5 for Hudson in these ccircumstances is WAY WAY off the mark.

I think its irrelevant because neither of them fill me with any sort of confidence.

I just wish for ONCE we could actually trade well where we wlak away from the trade and say, you know what, I think we got a pretty good deal!

To be fair we have to see the details of the trade or the on trade that should occur given it has been done really quickly on day 1 of trade week
