I was just thinking that this is the 4th time we have been to a preliminary final in just our 12th year in the competition.

That averages to a preliminary final appearance just every 3 years.

That it is a mighty fine performance.

GO CROWS

Lets make it another Grand Final

Its good but its not exceptional.

There are sixteen teams in the Comp and four of them will make the Prelims every year. On average you should make the PF once every four years.

Take out some weaker teams in the past 12 years who have not made a PF (Port, Freo, and yes Collingwood), and that bumps up the averages that the other teams should achieve to about once every three years.

Don't underestimate us, only once in our 5 finals appearances have we not atleast made the prelims!

4/5 is a good record, only last year we got kicked out in the first rd by Carlton after again travelling to Perth in Rd 22!

Certainly better than Collingwoods recent Prelim or even finals strike rate though. ;)

You would have to agree that the Roos Prelim appearances of the last decade would modify those averages. Overall it is an impressive effort by your Crow boys.

Go Roos
