Now that is a damned good question. Darren (walk on water) Jarman is the first choice(BOG in 94 from memory and thats for starters).After that I'm struggling to be honest.I was thinking possibly Peter Caven(in the early 90's for Fitzroy).My other guesses and they are guesses would be Ingerson,Wellman or Bond!

Only guess I can think to add to that is Greg Anderson. Did Modra have any good performances against us?

I don't recall Modra ever playing that well against us but I'll take your word for it.
What about Tony Hall as a bit of a smokey???

Tony Modra (2 for Fremantle against us, 19 with Adelaide)
Darren Jarman (6 for Hawthorn against us, 37 with Adelaide)
Sean Wellman (2 for Essendon against us, 2 with Adelaide)

BTW ... Lance Piociane and Barry Standfield both polled votes for Hawthorn and Footscray respectively, but never polled while they were with us.

Barry was unlucky. 2 of the first 5 games in 97 he was clearly in the best 3 on ground. And he should have got a bonus vote for "showing them the ball" against Hawthorn!

Agreed.He was in great form in those early games.The "showing the ball" incident was unfortunate(although it was pi$$ funny as we were sitting behind those goals)as it effectively 'cost' him his career at the Crows.
