This is a brilliant metaphor for SA as a whole.

Not change! No! No-o-o-o-o ...

This is why I've come to the conclusion that for us to move forward as a footy club, we must break the shackles of the SANFL, buy back our license and enter a side into the VFL. At the moment, all we are is a massive cash cow for the SANFL. I love the journo's going out and claiming that we may be in breach of our sub license and will have to answer to the SANFL, as if it means absolutely anything. Apparently we may lose the right to represent the SANFL... I'm sure Chapman and Trigg are absolutely shaking in their boots at the thought! In fact I'm sure we'd welcome that scenario, save us having to serve two masters in both the SANFL and the AFL.

Just FYI a deal has been struck between Fremantle, Peel Thunder, West Coast and East Perth to see these teams combine in the WAFL from the 2014 season onwards.
Surprised to see a deal struck out of the blue (Monday night apparently). Will hopefully turn Peel around on-field, god knows we need some success. Unfortunately its difficult to see the SANFL allowing the same sort of thing to happen for the Crows and Port.
