As for Andrews and Glenelg, I would argue that it is the perfect place to develop him as a ruckman. Their #1 ruckman from last year (Brad Smith) has been given the arse. That leaves Golding and Kreuger as the only other ruckman with any league experience. Golding is that fat Australia Post are considering giving him his own postcode. It will be the end of the year before he is anywhere near his best, if he gets their at all. Kreuger will play some time in the ruck but will still need assistance. I believe the tigers would much prefe him at CHF. Andrews has to be in front of Dubienicki, otherwise why would the Crows rookie list him. If Andrews and Kreuger can't become the regular ruckman for the bays how the hell do you think they can edge the likes of Dabrowski at West?

Makes Total sense

If these guys are AFL listed surely cream rises to the top - they should create their own opportunities.

Don't worry mate. Its all legal;)

As for the Dabrowski comment, he needs some help. The point I was trying to make is that Andrews would have more competition for his spot at Glenelg than he would at Westies. What I am getting at is that the clubs have shown in the past that they will rather play fellas who will be there all the time than AFL listed players. Clear example being Schuback at West Adelaide last year.

Agreed, but appears Westies is the club most likely not to provide playing experience to AFL listed players.
You mentioned Schuback, but also Jericho last year given little opportunity.
Dont rate Herbet at all, Andrews may need competition for his spot to spur on his development. May in the end be better for him.

Who would start as Glenelg's #1 ruckman? For me it is not clear. Herbert, Golding & Kreuger are all capable of playing as a KPP, but I gather one would start in the ruck (Golding perhaps ?). Perhaps Andrews can play as the supporting ruckman off the bench. The odds are at least 1 tall will be injured - hopefully not Kreuger or Andrews from a Crows' perspective.

The important thing is no matter the club, if a player is being stalled in their development, they should be shifted to a club where they will get better opportunities.

I'm making these comments without having seen any of these players play recently. But relying on gameday media reports and commonsense.

Golding has been a huge disappointment since his early games with the Crows and appears to have a poor work ethic towards getting fit. After a knee injury I wouldn't be expecting to see much of him. Herbet should be a fill-in player. Krueger from PS reports will be a good player for Glenelg. Andrews, in all honesty, you would expect, given where he is from and how late he was drafted, to spend most of the season in the reserves.
Maybe surprised to see him play league but only if injuries dictate.
Remember Jericho (who was rated higher and drafted higher) spent his first year in the reserves.

Schuback couldn't get a game with Westies last year because he had a late start due to injury and then found it hard to get in to a team winning 10 in a row. Rehnny sent him to the Bays so that he could get league games. We could have done with him later, however, when the injuries started.

Jericho's form wasn't quite good enough at that time, either, but watch out for him this year, as I have previously said.

I think Shaun Rehn is more than happy to play AFL players if they're good enough. Several played nearly all year with us last season.

The game should always be at Norwood and not Adelaide oval for one reason and one reason only

Coopers v West End. End of story.
No arguement from me. Just wish we could get Coopers at Footy Park!
