Ch10 news mentioned that Johnson has been ruled out, but Goodwin may play & will be named in the 25 man squad. Crows have elevated Mattner off the rookie list (for the injured Fitzy) & he has been named in the squad. Haven't seen the teams yet, so it will be interesting to now who the other 3 inclusions to the squad are, given Smart is out.

Will be interesting to read the SANFL teams tomorrow to see who the emergencies are. Clarke & Doughty would have to be certainties to play, but the other 2 positions are up for grabs (assuming it is not 3 positions if Goody drops out). Shirley may play on Cousins to allow Stenglein to take Smarty's defensive spot ... although Massie & Johncock are more than adequate replacements. I would like Perrie to be picked & start up forward as he combines well with Stevo . He was unlucky to get dropped it the 1st place & gives us some flexibility say if we wanted to play Kenny @ FF.

Hmmm, stupid me. Perrie has been named @ FF & not on the bench, so I'm guessing he will play. Last 3 named I reckon may be the players to drop out. Who has the bye in the SANFL, as I gather they will take a spare player for the trip west.

That would make sense & explain why the Crows lifted him off the rookie list then.
