I went for option 4 as i still think we are in with a silly chance to come away with a win,
On most positions we match up reasonably well against them & if Stenglein can curb the influence of Voss & whoever has Leppitch on him can make him accountable well who knows we have been underdogs before & won so why not now,

I went for Brisbane in a tight game. At least we have our selections right and didn't bring in a dorky Ben Marsh.
It's possible we'll win but using logic and not the heart - Brisbane narrowly.

Somewhere between tight and demolition......I know anything can happen and we'll be keen to bounce back after a loss too, but I think Lions will come out with something to prove, they lift against the better sides and they'll want to establish their superiority.
Without a forward line and with Rhett Biglands as a key forward target, I can't really see us getting close. Should be the Lions in a canter, the final margin really depends on how much the Lions want to win by and their accuracy in front of goal. May the footballing gods be kind to us this week.

Is it better to expect a (bad) loss, and then get excited when they win??? Or is it better to go in thinking positively (as in with the Saints, and Collingwood) and feel absolutely distraught when they go down?
I think the loss to Sydney last week may have pricked the complacency of the Lions, but, who knows.... playing at home and expecting to win they could get caught out.

BTW, I voted Brisbane in a close one. We need everything to go our way to win & hoping that it doesn't get nasty with the Lions winning my a very big margin.
Unfortunately, I think we will get ABSOLUTELY CAINED
I dont usually tip against the crows ( in fact, i didnt tip against them once last year, or the year before), but this week im tipping Brisbane without a doubt.
I might have more fun watching grass grow 2 moro night, than see my darlings get thrashed

It's funny you say that actually, because watching us get thrashed isn't the worst thing in the world for me.....normally during a game I'm so tense and nervous, I eagerly watch every possession, cringe with every mistake, sigh with relief when our guys do something good.....tomorrow I can just sit back and relax and let everything unfold, without worrying about us winning because I know it won't happen. It's disappointing, sure, but there's also something calming about that for me.....

Normally I'm everything you described x 3!!
My missus can't stand the pacing in the lounge room and the constant swearing!!
However, tomorrow night is one of those rare nights that because I don't think that we can win, that I'll be relaxed. Very relaxed.
I hope that as the game unfolds I'll have good reason to start pacing, swearing constantly and drive the missus out of the lounge room.

Tell me about it. At least tommorrow night I can concentrate more on looking at individual performances and have a bit more time to pay attention to certain movements skill errors etc. If we in some weird way get to be half a chance during the game, I am sure I will be doing my fair share of swearing, yelling and pacing.

Well Dezzmo, you should be OK this week as you can take comfort that we won't lose a game we should win. ie. We can only a win a game that most of us are expecting to lose!

Sorry - got a bit hyped again tonight - ver y frustrating result -even tho' I tipped the Lions - the BP is up a bit atm!! Where's that oxygen they gave me on Thursday!! I need it right now!! - oh and the aspirin too!!
