It was obvious againts Geelong and again tonight , we are lacking height, strength & speed with our midfield.
We seemed to be getting rag dolled at nearly every stoppage.

Most troubling, is the lack of composure under pressure or any sense of a game plan when pressure is applied.
I think we have enough skill to overcome the height and strength ,what we don't have is a a competent coaching panel.

That being said, Freo were gifted a few tonight (as we were last week) and enough to claim the game.
AFL seriously needs to train these umps up to not side up with the home teams, it's out of control.

Same as last few years...give up a big lead early, and comeback to make it respectable. This is a standard pattern for us - esp on the road. Need to bring in some youth (Dowling, Edwards, Bond types). Taylor was unsighted, Peatling terrible tonight, Keays only showed up late, as did Tex - but that was when the game was gone already. Crouch needs to be dropped - we can't afford so many easy balls out of the centre with zero pressure and that was what set up the game for them in the first qtr, and in the 3rd. Nick's needs to pull his head out of his arse and change it up...any of those three above would be an upgrade. Even Berry who at least can tackle and has some leg speed. Cumming was good as was Worrell and Michalanney - other than that we were woeful.

Freo working on some fwd half game. We maybe need to work some fwd half game also, if not for philosophy at least to find some balance, timing, plan B etc. List is average, amongst some list holes down back against quality oppo midfield hides behind any transition we manage to get going.
