We all have good reason to have some doubt, if you don't then you havent comprehended our recent record.

The main thing I'm worried about is soreness left over from last week. Danger, Sloaney and especially Matt Wright looked really sore at the end of the last game. On the bright side, lairdy, mackay, truck, lynchy and crouch should all be rearing to go having not played much footy recently and weren't sore by the end of the last game from what I could tell.

Hoping we pour on the pressure like we did against north and port. Its been really, really impressive in those games. Also hope we pour on the good movement from midfield into forward like we did against port. If we can do that it should be a decent % boost. In all honesty though, I will be more than happy with a 2 point win, even if it is relatively poor.

I remember the week after Showdowns used to be a bit of a hurdle.

Interestingly before we lost the Sydney game in Round 3 this season we were 5-0 coming off Showdowns going back to 2011.

The Swans couldn't manage more than an 11 point win against Richmond the week before either. Sydney are hitting a predictable slump in the season (best time to have it, rather than during finals), but they're still winning games. Shows that they're the team to beat.

Can't say I'm not nervous about today's match though. Everything in past nine weeks has told me we'll lose against all the odds.
