Review Crows vs Port Adelaide - Trial Match 1 @ Mt Barker, Friday 21 Feb

Given our recent history at the G vs Collingwood (42 point loss last year, 71 point loss in 2023) and if yesterday is anything to go by, id say a coach sacking worth performance is well and truely on the cards (not that anyone at the club is touch enough to actually sack Hinkley)

And that 42 point loss is lipstick on a pig. It was a 70+ loss in the last 3 quarters.

Our season starts round 2, and we just hope the percentage damage from round 1 hasn't been too horrific.

I haven’t watched the whole game but noticed Luko had about 3 shots on goal in the 3rd and one a goal from outside 50 so saying he was okay, not great but not awful either is not that big of a call. I never said he was good ffs.

Don't worry guys, this is the reason for our poor performances!

Exactly what we said every previous pre season and look what happened. The signs are there. We don’t look drilled.

Yes I felt those old familiar feelings returning. That sinking feeling that we are still a shambles. And I know beyond a doubt that our coaches are not playing 4d chess.

These are one of the most brain-dead comparisons to make.

We had the same forward 50 entries that have not worked for the best part of a decade.

Our players failed to execute simple skills effectively.

I hate having coaches who seem to place no importance on skill development. We can't kick, mark or handball to a minimum level, let alone anywhere near an elite level. After 12 years I want to know why! Not every player we pick can be so poorly skilled. They only look good in year 1!
