Very good to see our retention and acquisition rate on the improve (from nowhere to somewhere good in short order). I'm sure the players can see where we're heading and believe that it's achievable. But I also wonder whether we've sharpened our pencil a bit off balance sheet as it were. I know a bloke who'll sell you a unit in appreciating and currently under gentrification Footscray for 500 bucks. This voucher entitles the bearer to a life time's supply of tacos and tortillas.....;). I mean why should other clubs' players be the only ones getting cheap boxes and Lexus' cars......

Seems like a lot of effort having to update it in two separate threads, you do well. But it kind of makes me wanna ask, is there much point having it in two threads? I forgot you had it in the off season thread.
The Contract one started a long time before the Offseason one just added the contract lengths to make it look bigger I guess haha

I have it on fair authority that most contracts are about 9 pages long, although if they are only retained in digital form, they are several screens longer. I believe when they sign with us at the end of this year though, that:

* Jake Carlisle's will be slightly longer due to Adrian Dodoro's scribblings in crayon;
* Will Hoskin-Elliott's will be longer due to his name and Greater Western Sydney Gonads references;
* Jon Patton's will be longer to cover off all those secret meetings he had at WO over last summer.

I spent a little time on the net trying to find players contract lengths because I have spotted of couple of people wanting to know about them

Pretty awesome stuff, the kids really don't want to leave and were really building a tight knit group. and people try to say they're not getting behind the coach :rolleyes:

Good.

You know this or you wish this to happen?

Heard he loves the club and the coach is a massive fan. Just can't see him leaving.

Edit: Found direct quotes from him to support my belief

WESTERN Bulldogs defender Easton Wood wants to remain at the Whitten Oval and finish his career as a one-club player.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and, after seven seasons at the club, has indicated he wants to re-sign with the Bulldogs.

"Without a doubt I’d love to [stay at the Bulldogs and be a one-club player]," Wood said.

"My focus at the moment is to play consistent footy. Last year I was injured a lot, so I'm sure I'd like to get a few more games under my belt, and the club would like to see that as well, to see that I can be reliable."
