I'm a little confused by what you mean, but Lyon didn't rate Broughton very highly at all from what I understand after chatting with Freo posters. His prospects on playing senior footy had he stayed there weren't very high at all. You'd have to talk to them about the details I guess?
i think the afl should help the suns out with out proper facilities they cant train in a tin shed for ever. the afl has helped heeps off clubs with there new training bases.
It appears the GCS are doing an excellent job in locking in those players they deem would be targets of other AFL clubs if they were uncontracted.
It appears Clayton is the master of working the balance of talent, age, potential and positional players that have to be factored into list management.
Excited about Hall being signed.

Yep very happy with our list management so far. We don't get nearly as much credit as GWS get yet they got a lot more concessions whereas I believe we have done really well under more constraints. And yes I am a one eyed GC supporter.

It would appear the Saints fans are keen on Prestia. The original post in this thread has been quoted in their rebuilding thread called brick by brick. One even going as far as to say he would "move heaven and earth to get Prestia". I wonder if the Saints still have anything to offer the Suns other than their (probably top 10) draft pick this year? Keeping in mind Prestia is a top 10 draftee with 3 years AFL experience and has shown quite a bit more than some of players that went before him in the draft.
He's killing it off Half Back! This talk of Dion so early in the year is depressing. Still fairly confident he will stay and will be signed soon.
Here - 10 Dion Prestia - 2013to be honest, i don't know where this talk of prestia leaving has come from.
obviously he's out of contract, but didn't we just re-sign 3 other guys a week ago? Looking at the first post there are plenty of guys out of contract at the end of this year, who's to say Prestia isn't going to re-sign?Here - 10 Dion Prestia - 2013
Been saying it since the pre-season. And I hope I am wrong because he is such a weapon.
But I only think Dions chances of staying are 50% at best! I can see the benefits of letting him go if he wants to. Good trade value and clears the congestion up with the already extensive list we have to move on . . . But geez he has come on in leaps and bounds this year.
I think he will end up at Melbourne
Prestia for Frawley!! Make it happenSUNS
How about Prestia re-signs for 3 years and we get Frawley with our rd1 pick. Sounds good to me!
Frawley isn't off contract until next year, and Warnocks doing fine atm, maybe go for him next year with Geelong's first round priority pick?
