champ champ....better footy is what we all aspire to play!

i think you'll find that in 2005 there was no u19 team......and yes the u19 system should be used as a feeder for seniors...so why oh why would the club allow for one not to exist in 2005, particularly in division 1.
which is the best underage comp going around outside tac cup.

one or the other mate you chose!!!

it is the idea that you foster the u19s, and those players who have the ability and the DESIRE to play seniors will.

I think you'll find, 1 week wonder, that the players that leave to go to other clubs, are leaving for leagues where the clubs can pay the player. Sooner or later, these type of players realise that it's more enjoyable to play footy with your mates.

Now you've said your piece, you can drift off into the sunset with your drivel.

Bobby i can tell you Bracchi is 100% back although he will have to clean up a bit, a few to many ben cousin type weekends.

Cheevo is massive looks like he is do double sessions at the gym with deano phillips. No work done by cronan though!

Aqualina is back after snubbing sunshine heights and watch out for the MOOSE
Not sure if it's the same guy or not but if it is i cant wait until we play you guys so i can teach your mate moosea thing or 2 on how to play footy.

The under 19 division SHOULD be the best outside tac cup... they have all had their time and are now men... if u ask me, if u dont qualify for under 18's then you r a senior... if u cant handle it then find a club where u can, not spruke about how good you r.the under 19's r failed junior players and i wouldnt think that werribee would be too worried about losing their 'failed players'. The ones they would want r the kids comin straight out of juniors that can make an impact in senior footy... not the kids who werent good enough to play seniors in under 19's.now when they r 22 and 23 and have had an alright season, are goin overboard and believing they could make the grade in geelong. goodluck.

Aquinas are playing two praccy matches. One against the basin and against yarra valley. The Basin game is on the 14th i think and yarra the week after that. Just want to get into the real stuff though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Shooter, but that is one of the biggest peices of rubbish ive ever seen, including what was in the toilet bowl this morning. U19 are not 'failed' footballers. They are a very important part of a football club's growth, and i believe crucial to ongoing success. Firsthand i have seen 3-4 u19 every season making the transition to senior footballers and playing key roles in the senior team. i have also seen plenty of players develop very late. One of our clubs greatest ever players played school 3rds in year 12, struggled for a game in first year u19, then started find some confidence in second year u19. He has since won three best and fairests, played state, and been named in the club's team of the century. All at a level that your club is yet to achieve( though i suspect may some day if they continue their growth and foster their u19) I would not call him a failed player, nor others who have had similar late development, though maybe not as spectacular.

Poor post.

That is one case... i wanna know the difference between playin 2's and under 19's. Maybe it works at ur club but at teams like werribee the kids who have the potential to play seniors dont... they just want a flag. The under 19's should be for the kids in the age group who arent good enough to play 2's...i dont really have much to do with them but it seems once u r good enough to play in the 2's.... thats where u play. u dont play under 19's until u play an ordinary team and then decide to play 1's when they ask.
